Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs can help with navigation and hierarchy. By providing a running list of pages that were visited to allow a user to trace their navigation path, you can prevent confusion. The format simply takes an unordered list and formats it using a separator. The separator on the pseudo class may be overwritten.
Some studies would also suggest adding a back button to your page in addition to just breadcrumbs. See buttons for more info.
